BFF Arbor & Lawn is a family-owned and operated business, our name standing for Burton Family and Friends. John began working as a tree trimmer in 2009 and fell in love with the industry. He learned every aspect of trees.

 

In 2014 he developed a plan to start a small landscaping business to start his journey. After 1 year of landscape and lawn services, John began incorporating tree services into his business and kept growing from there. While working for Pittsburgh's local tree trimmers union, Local 1919 through Duquesne Light he started operating BFF Arbor and Lawn on the weekends and studying to become a Certified Arborist.

 

In 2018 he passed his exam and set his sights on running his business full-time, all year round. He signed his wife Valerie on to help with administrative and customer service relations and we have been a fully operating business ever since. We have served many people in our community through the services we provide, charitable donations to our youth and training opportunities for those in urban areas. We pride ourselves on our exceptional quality of service and care, our diversity and our knowledge and expertise.
